笔记本电脑配备了防水键盘和特别的排水系统，可以在进水的情况下保护硬盘和电路板不受损伤。同时松下这款防水笔记本电脑也可以承受220磅力量的撞击，这为经常随主人挤车上下班的笔记本电脑多提供了一层保护。

　　之前松下已经向军方出货半防水和全防水的军用笔记本电脑。目前松下旗下的Toughbooks和ItronixGobooks系列防水笔记本电脑，有50％的市场份额，但是一些小型的笔记本电脑厂商也在研发和生产防水笔记本电脑。这款笔记本预计将于5月19日在日本上市，售价约26.5万日元（2300美元）。
