Windows Vista正式上市已经一月有余，爱好者们对其的研究也开始逐渐深入。由于众所周知的原因，人们对Vista的授权和激活功能的研究最为关心。目前，网络上已经出现了多种破解Vista的方法，包括停止试用计数器，破解KMS，破解OEM版等等。近日，又出现了一种暴力算号器激活的方式，无疑会更令微软头痛。
该方法的思想非常简单，一个正版用户如果输错了序列号，然后试图激活，服务器自然会返回一个错误信息。这款算号器就修改了Windows授权管理工具（slmgr.vbs），每小时试验2万个序列号。也许需要几个小时甚至几天，当它试到一个有效的序列号时，激活就非常“合法”的完成了。这样的“笨办法”正是此算号器的“暴力”之处所在。
这种破解方式十分耗时，但据称已经得到了不少网友的试验成功。更让人替微软担忧的是，之前的Vista破解只保证自己正常使用，不会侵犯真正正版消费者的利益。而此种暴力算号激活后，使用的是完全合法的序列号，很有可能微软还没有将此序列号出售到消费者手中。今后不知道会不会出现这样的情况：正版消费者买到Vista之后，由于序列号已经被人用此种方法算到使用，而导致自己的正版软件无法激活。

使用方法
Nice easy to follow instructions thanks guys:1: download the file slmgr.zip (links below)
2: make a backup of C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs (in case the keygen works, replace it back with the original)
3: use slmgr.vbs from the zip-file to replace the one in C:\windows\system32\. If you have problems with permissions, select file...goto properties....take ownership....then change permissions.
4: write down your partial or entire productkey. You can check your key with "magic jellybean" (from our pack)
5: goto Start > Run, type "cmd" and OK. Now type "C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ipk generate". A process called "wscript.exe" will start and can take quite a lot of CPU resources. It will check aprox. 10000 keys per 30 minutes.
6: now the waiting begins. It can take very very very long before you get some results
7: after some time (hours, days) check your productkey with "magic jellybean" again to see if it has changed
8: if your serial has changed try to activate Vista by going to Start > Run. Now type the command "C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato"

据国外媒体报道，来自Keznews论坛的消息称，微软的新一代操作系统Windows Vista已被成功破解。
Keznews论坛上一个名为“Snooza”成员日前破解了Vista的正版验证程序。方法很简单：暴力破解。Snooza所开发的一款软件程序可以生成Windows Vista密钥，并可以成功激活Vista。
经过该论坛的其他成员测试，该破解方法是有效的。对于微软而言，这可能事件麻烦的事情。不仅在反盗版上再次输给用户，更为糟糕的是，当前的一些合法用户可能将无法通过正版验证。
当然，值得庆幸的是，随着的时间的推移，相信会有越来越的用户购买正版Vista系统。
具有讽刺意味的是，Keznews论坛上发表该文章的作者还有一段免责声明：“在任何情况下，用户不得出售该软件所生成的密钥。我并不是支持盗版，只是测试之用。强烈建议大家购买正版Vista。”
